Synopsis
The film immerses the viewer in the space of the subconscious, where found images connect without obvious logic, like fragments of a dream. Images collide, disappear and reappear, reproducing the continuous movement of a mind trying to link disparate impressions.
About the Director
Michael Fleming is an Amsterdam-based visual artist. His practice appropriates iconic cultural images, transforming them to highlight underlying issues. His "moving paintings" are made primarily from found footage — feature films, advertising, and pop-culture scenes — woven into a mesmerising montage. Fleming's work has been featured in exhibitions and film festivals internationally.
