Synopsis
Our world exists thanks to the ability of a simple cell to evolve and grow more complex. The film proposes turning the familiar picture of evolution upside down, imagining what would happen if the cell itself became the crown of nature and gained power over every other form of life.
About the Director
Raya Shmatova is a contemporary artist, graphic designer, and director of documentary and animated film. She studied at SPbGIKiT, in the workshop of Alexander Markov and Maria Popritsak, and has repeatedly taken part in film projects supported by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
