Synopsis
The work begins as an audiovisual performance, in which synthesized sound, layered vocal fragments and electronic noise directly shape oscilloscope imagery. The recorded material then passes through a generative process and becomes constantly shifting animated forms, joining sound, signal and image into a single system.
About the Director
Chris May is a Denver-based multimedia artist working across video art, music, sound, and installation. His practice explores the boundary where technology becomes perception: sound rendered as form, and signal translated into visual terrain. Through live performance, May creates audiovisual works that treat sound and image as interconnected, equal expressions.
