Synopsis
An experimental film about a heroine who, through a desire to be heard, reconnects with her true self, shot on black-and-white Super 8 film. Non-linear images and voiceover guide the viewer through an inner shift that ultimately transforms the heroine's own reality.
About the Director
Kate Ferguson (USA) is a writer, filmmaker and photographer who has lived and worked in Los Angeles and Mexico City. Her multidisciplinary practice centres on threshold moments of transformation and spiritual, mystical themes. Through her work she explores nostalgic liminality, the palpability of place, and paths toward psychological evolution. Her approach is tactile, intuitive and driven by curiosity.
