Synopsis
A digital film built entirely from two X-rays held in the collection of the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. Working with images originally intended to reveal what is hidden inside the body, the film turns a medical scan into an autonomous object of visual imagination.
About the Director
Jorge Moneo Quintana was born in 1988 in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country, Spain), where he still lives and works. He is a filmmaker and artist working at the intersection of cinema and video art, combining the roles of director, editor, cinematographer and sound designer. His work spans documentary, experimental and video art. His films include "Orbainak" (2019), "In Ictu Oculi" (2020) and "Phantasia" (2024).
