A robin in the room

Synopsis

A sleepless night becomes a journey into the past for the protagonist — into a love story that continues to exist in memory. The night streets of Buenos Aires, a bird, the reproduction of a painting and fragments of everyday life come together in an unsteady space between memory and reality.

About the Director

Nicolás M. Pintos (Bs. As., 1992) graduated in Image and Sound Design from the University of Buenos Aires, where he also teaches. He has directed one medium-length film and seven short films, including The Hygieias (2018, winner of the INCAA Cine.Ar award) and A robin in the room (2025). His work has been shown at international festivals and venues such as MOMus (Greece), the Museum of Contemporary Art of Buenos Aires, UNAM and MATCA (Mexico).
