Synopsis
The director tries to find and see a military reconnaissance drone patrolling the Mediterranean, investigating the area around its base in Malta with the help of Google Earth, his own footage and local plane-spotters. A cinematic investigation into surveillance technology and the invisible structures of power that determine what — and who — can be seen.
About the Director
Stefan Kruse (b. 1987) is a Danish research-based filmmaker and visual artist working with ethical and philosophical questions related to image production — perception, mass-media image circulation and surveillance technologies. He completed postgraduate studies at the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln in 2024.
