Synopsis
An Israeli animator tries to convince herself to believe in hope — the same way the mind believes in the illusion of motion created by animation. Born of the experience of living through war, the film turns the very process of filmmaking into an attempt to find meaning and the possibility of hope inside a reality soaked in war.
About the Director
Yael Bonne (b. 1997), animation director and creator, graduated from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. "It Might Even Be Real" (2025) is her graduation film.
