Synopsis
A short, harshly imagistic film exploring the suffering and resilience of the Burmese people through politically charged images accumulated over the years — mothers made of tears, sons turning into empty glasses, lullabies that have become a curse. A kind of political "opera," grown out of the endlessly repeating military dictatorships of Myanmar.
