THE ALIGNMENT PROBLEM
Synopsis
An experimental short film staged as a dialogue between two non-human entities — a "creator" and its digital creation — in which language and repetition gradually build a shared reality. Made entirely in 3D graphics, the film turns the very process of computer modelling into a visual device, reflecting on identity, power and the authenticity of experience in a world mediated by technology.

Roberto Winter holds a Physics degree from the University of São Paulo, lives in Berlin, and makes work that renders the current state of affairs graspable and unbearable.
