Synopsis
Over the course of three years, the same interior becomes a space for exploring light, texture and time. Expired film stock, grain and layered images turn barely perceptible moments into material traces that gradually dissolve into the image itself.
About the Director
Ryan Marino is a New York--based artist working with film and sound. His 16mm films have screened at film festivals and venues worldwide, including Anthology Film Archives, the New York Film Festival, the San Francisco International Film Festival, and the Pacific Film Archive.
