Synopsis
One house in Rotterdam becomes the starting point for a meditation on time, memory and the impossibility of ever fully owning a space. Archives and personal recollections merge with the idea of a "haunted house" — a place where different eras and human lives can exist at the same time.
About the Director
Tess Martin is an artist and filmmaker based in Rotterdam since 2014. She studied both fine art and animation, resulting in a mixed artistic practice, and has exhibited and attended residencies internationally. She was a participant in Berlinale Talents in 2024. Her films include How Now, House? (2025), 1976: Search for Life (2023), and Voice (2020).
