Incoceivable Time
Synopsis
Inconceivable time — a conceivable image. A moment from the past or a dream of the future — both slipping away fast. Images of places, situations or people rise before the inner eye, becoming interpretations of happy or sad moments — with no possibility of changing them.
About the Director
Irena Paskali was born in 1969 in Ohrid, North Macedonia; since October 2004 she has lived and worked in Cologne, Germany. She is a video, film, installation, drawing and photography artist whose practice from 1999 to 2024 explores identity, displacement, spirituality and socio-political themes. Her long-running project "Hope" (2009--2024) documents performances she staged at significant political and religious sites worldwide, from the Kremlin to the United Nations headquarters.
