Synopsis
In the distant future, Brussels remains the last habitable place on Earth thanks to constant rain. The flooded city is gradually overrun by wild brewer's yeasts, and a randomly chosen group of residents must decide how humanity should respond to this new threat.
About the Director
Maud Girault (b. 1986, Paris) lives and works in Brussels; before filmmaking she studied sociology and anthropology, graduating from Belgium's INSAS film school in 2013. She works in poetic and essayistic cinema, with a strong focus on collective creation. Little public biographical information exists on co-directors Joachim Soudan and Jérôme Zahno; Soudan is associated with the Belgian radio scene (Bela platform).
